Sincerity of a Private Dental Hygienist

When you happen to attend Finesse Dental Hygiene Clinic, your entire time is spent with a registered dental hygienist, thus presenting an occasion and opportunity to consider dental hygiene matters honestly and without prejudice.

As private dental hygienists at Finesse Dental Hygiene Clinic, here are three things we like our clients to know:

We won't judge you

At Finesse, our clients tend to immediately share reasons they haven't been diligent with their oral hygiene or scheduling regular checkups. Many of them act like they are just waiting for a lecture - no wonder they have put off their dental hygiene appointments! We immediately inform them that we're not their mother and no matter what they did or didn't do in the past, we're just elated they are now sitting in our chairs. Now it is up to us to provide them with a wonerful health care experience they need and deserve to keep them coming regularly to Finesse in the future to maintain their oral health.

Bad breath always catches our attention

Bad breath (halitosis) is nothing to be embarrassed about around us... it's part of our job that we help people with on a daily basis. The reason we need to bring it up is to try and determine the cause, and then choose a course of treatment. Possible causes include health ailments, medications that cause dry mouth, gum disease, and nutrition choices.

All mouths are dirty

Amazingly there are 10 to 50 billion bacteria in our mouths at any given time. A good portion of our day at Finesse is spent doing our best to minimize the harmful type by cleaning our client's teeth thoroughly of calculus and plaque deposits. We enjoy educating them on ways and means to keep their mouths healthy, as well as how this also directly affects their overall health.

Quite simply, the best way our clients can fight the good fight at home is to brush after eating, flossing daily and, of course, come to see us at Finesse every 6 months.
